Under the statute of limitation for injuries in our state, you will have exactly two years from the moment you find out that you have been hurt to file a claim against the responsible party.  While most injuries will be obvious enough, there are some injuries—occupational illnesses, for instance—that will not be immediately apparent.  That being said, the statute of limitation for your claim will only come into effect exactly two years after you knew, or could have reasonably known, that you were hurt.  In any event, it will be in your best interests to begin working through the legal process as early on after sustained your injury as you are able.

If you or someone you love has been injured in an accident that was caused by another person, you may be able to take legal action against the responsible party and recover compensation for all of your pain and suffering.  To speak with a Fort Smith personal injury attorney at McCutchen Napurano - The Law Firm about the particulars of your claim, please call our offices at (479) 783-0036 today.
