The Arkansas State Police has reported that there were two fatalities on state roads just in the first week of August.

Twenty-three-year-old Newnan, Georgia resident Blake Zeledon was killed while two other people – 19-year-old fellow Newnan resident Alyssa Resis, and a minor – were injured when the 2015 Dodge they were riding in along Interstate 40 in Atkins, Pope County veered off the roadway and collided with a semi truck on Thursday, August 6, causing the Dodge to flip over.

Zeledon and Resis were passengers in the car while the minor was driving the vehicle during the accident.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Little Rock resident Denvil Williams was driving a 1995 Honda motorcycle south on Warden Road in Sherwood, Pulaski County when his motorcycle collided with a 2001 Suzuki motorcycle and a Ford Mustang, causing his death. The incident happened on March 23, 2015 but the state police released the report just this Thursday, August 6.
