Two individuals were hospitalized after a single vehicle crash in the southbound lane of Lock Dam Road that happened four miles east of Spiro in Le Flore County at around 5:13 a.m., a press statement from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol explained.

According to preliminary investigations, 26-year-old Keith Lamb was driving a 2012 GMC truck along with his passenger, 27-year-old Stigler resident Jennifer Benard, when he attempted to make a turn that the vehicle was unable to safely complete. The truck collided with an embankment and rolled nearly four times before coming to a stop upside-down.

Lamb and Benard were taken to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas by the Le Flore County Emergency Medical Services. They are currently in stable condition.
