Joey McCutchen Elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association

LITTLE ROCK – Joey McCutchen of the McCutchen Napurano - The Law Firm was elected 2014-2015 Secretary/Treasurer of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association on Saturday, May 2, 2014.He has been an ATLA member for over 20 years and has served on the ATLA Board of Governors since 2010. He won the 2013 Citizen Merit award which is given to an attorney who seeks to foster greater public understanding of the rights and liberties that ATLA seeks to preserve, or furthering the public’s knowledge in regard to the prevention of injury.

In 1991, Mr. McCutchen established the Law Office of Joey McCutchen in Fort Smith, founded on two unbending principles: first, the law firm would only represent injured consumers and would never represent insurance companies or big business; and second, that every case is taken and prepared as if it is going to go to trial.

Joey McCutchen is the founder of Arkansas Consumer Advocates and holds membership in the Bar of the State of Arkansas and Oklahoma, the American Association for Justice as well as the American Board Association. Further, he is recognized as an Advocate for the American Association for Justice’s National College Advocacy group. His community service includes being a board member for the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club Alumni & Friends Association and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been featured in the ATLA Docket “Good Works” column and for more than eight years, has chaired Continuing Legal Education seminars to educate Arkansas trial lawyers about auto collision cases.

ATLA President George Wise said about Mr. McCutchen, “Joey’s dedication to preserving the civil justice system and the safety of his clients is unmatched. He is an indispensible member of ATLA and I know that under his leadership, the organization will continue to grow stronger in its fight to protect the rights of the everyday person.”

The Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), founded in 1963, is an affiliate of the American Association for Justice in Washington, D.C.
