The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas reported that a man crashed his car into a home in Fort Smith, injuring a young girl and causing property damage.

A deputy attempted to pull the suspect over at the intersection of S. 31st and Highway 71 South but was unsuccessful, the press release from the sheriff’s office stated.

According to preliminary investigations, the vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Fort Smith resident Raylon Triplett, crashed into a home at the 8600 block of Meadow Drive in Fort Smith and hit a girl who was in the driveway of the house.

The girl sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to Mercy Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The incident also caused damage to the house and the two vehicles that were in the driveway at that time.
