Arkansas vehicular accidents kill two

A man lost this life on Saturday, July 30 and a woman was killed on Sunday, July 31 during vehicular accidents on Arkansas roads, the Arkansas State Police reported.

An 83-year-old Bella Vista, Arkansas resident Anita Riddell succumbed to fatal injuries last Sunday after her car collided with a 2007 Ford Mustang along U.S. Route 71 in Benton County at around 5:40 p.m. Sixty-year-old Tyler Riddell, Anita’s passenger, sustained injuries during the incident.

In an unrelated incident, 64-year-old Hot Springs in Garland County resident Ronnie Fletcher was struck by a 2004 Toyota RAV4 while crossing a traffic lane on U.S. Route 70 in Hot Springs on Saturday at around 2:11 a.m. The RAV4 was headed east along the same highway. Fletcher was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
