A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Dixieland Road and West Hudson Road in Rogers resulted in one person’s hospitalization on Wednesday, June 1.
According to preliminary investigations by the Rogers City Police Department, a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze collided with a semi-truck. The 16-year-old male driver of the Cruze was brought to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville before being airlifted to a hospital in Springfield, Missouri for the treatment of his critical injuries. Another passenger, also a minor, was accompanying the 16-year-old driver when the accident happened. The passenger was taken to Northwest Medical Center for the treatment of minor injuries. The accident is still being investigated by the authorities.
